how many of you saw this outstanding show on the history of stax records on pbs?very good production.

I take it this was in the States - sadly for us in this side of the pond, not available to us. Unless someone can tell me different. Don't suppose any of the digital channels have picked this up?

Not directly relevant I know, but I've found a lot of good blues and soul stuff on BBC 4. Occasionally it later pops up and analogue but a lot of it doesn't. Soul Britannia, couple of concerts etc. have been well worth watching recently.....so keep your eyes out.

Would be great if we could get to see the Stax documentary, but doesn't sound like it'll find its way over here. (Unless we get a DVD release)

Unfortutely I missed it.  I am sure it will run again and I will be sure to catch it since I am a Tennessee girl.  On my last trip to memphis the Stax museum was a must see, right after the Civil Rights museum.
