Mr. Robinson,You are and always be the greatest soul artist to grace the music scene. I had the pleasure of meeting you backstage when you performed at the US Air Force Academy in 92 and again in 93 during your USO tour to Yokota Air Base Japan. You were wonderful--would love to know when you're on tour to the DC area. Your favorite Air Force Colonel. Respectfully, Stanna Bobbitt

A GREAT WEBSITE FOR THE GREATEST MOST REAL MUSIC TO BE HEARD, R & B AND THE BLUES! IN READING THE COMMENTS OF YOUR GUESTS, IT ONCE AGAIN BECOMES CLEAR THAT THE BIGGEST PROPONENTS OF AMERICA'S FINEST MUSIC ARE FROM THE UK. CONGRATS TO THEM FOR KNOWING THE FINER THINGS IN LIFE. IN ANSWER TO JOY'S QUESTION CONCERNING THE R & B CL####IC "CRY TO ME," IT WAS RECORDED BY THE LEGENDARY SOLOMON BURKE ON THE ATLANTIC LABEL IN THE MID 60'S. KEEP UP THIS FINE WEBSITE AND NEVER LET THIS MUSIC DIE!

So happy to have found this site! Question: I recently heard a song called "Cry to Me." Sounds like it's from the 50's. Anybody know the artist? Would like to get ahold of that.... Other than that, I appreciate being able to listen to selections here. Did I miss your section on Billie Holliday? She's one of my all-time favorites, but through you I have become more familiar with names I had always heard, but didn't know, and also with names that are new to me. THANKS!

Great web-site! I've been in love with this music all my life and I'm still discovering artists and works that get me excited. Being able to share the experiences of other R&B; fans opens up new avenues for exploration. Thanks!
