** Sherman Robertson & BluesMove UK & European Dates **
July and August sees the return to the UK of Sherman Robertson for a limited number of UK and European dates:
"I've seen some great artists in Penrith in the last few years but I've got to say Sherman tops the lot, The man is a truly magnificent guitarist - not that this is news to you. And he really put himself out for the fans. I can't praise him highly enough, for the value he gave to people. As for meandering through the crowd, giving a close up show to everyone, even the woman sitting outside at the table by the cloakroom...! And not a note missed at any point. Great band, too. "Mrs. Sharrie Williams Is the Voice! A galactic vocal force to be reckoned with, a ragging flame of fire that has been sprayed with gasoline, she has a message burning within her soul. Sharrie has a powerful voice, with a range that can reach and rattle the castle tower one minute, while soothing the soul of a crying child the next, she possess an unaffected nature, which gives her grace and a sensibility that pays homage to the great female artist of rock and blues without ever being imitative, in short, Sharrie Williams is the real deal, a true original."

** Mike Harrison Band UK Dates July 07 **
Formerly with legendary seventies band Spooky Tooth, the amazing Mike Harrison returned to music last year after 25 years in self-imposed exile - catch him at only two UK shows this year - at the Maryport Blues Festival and at the Gloucester Festival's Music day (see info below):
The Mike Harrison Band is perhaps a classic example of a star that fame forgot: a shining talent of the sixties and seventies musical explosion, to a sometime milkman. Yet in late 1999, Mike Harrison was tracked down by the Hamburg Blues Band, of whom he had a made a substantial impression on during his success in Europe. As a result, he spent a few years guesting with them in Germany. In early 2006 he met the director of Halo Records, Mike Maslen, who as a self-confessed Harrison fan persuaded Mike to put his signature back on a recording contract, even though Harrison had sworn to never make a record for a label again.
Gig Dates
Saturday, 28/07/2007, Gloucester Festival (also featuring the Holmes Brothers amongst many other acts!), Gloucester, Gloucestershire.

** Italy's Family Style Band July Dates **
Italy's top blues band Family Style return to the UK for a short tour at the end of July.
"... and the stage was set for an absolute belter of a gig. Much of their material is original and covers a huge range of styles: funk, Chicago blues, shuffles, New Orleans style beats, cool jazzy stuff, summat for everyone really. Franco Limido was great on harp and vocals, imagine a singing Paul Lamb and you'll get the idea! The bass/drum backline were Dog's Bollocks candidates and the band was fun to watch, too, with some inspired clowning on "Crazy Legs". " - Dave Kingsbury from the Running Horse, Nottingham.
